Whether Vijayadashami is celebrated as the victory of Lord Rama or as Durga Puja, in both cases it is a festival of Shakti-puja, a date of Shastra-pujan. It is a festival of joy and exhilaration and victory. Hindu culture is a worshiper of heroism and valor. The celebration of Dashain has started with the aim of manifesting heroism in the blood of individuals and society.

The Tenth Festival inspires ten kinds of sins - work, anger, greed, lust, jealousy, arrogance, laziness, violence and stealing.

The important gross family of Bijaya Dashami is the Tika, which is made from a mixture of jamara and curd, red avir, banana and rice. Vedic Sanatan followers have associated the blessings of Dashain with mythological characters and their maharathas. Today is Dashmi Tithi i.e. the tenth day of Vijayadashami and this day which falls on this day is a word derived from Dashmi and Dussehra. Dussehra means defeat of Dashanan Ravana (Dashanan meaning ten = ten + anan = mouth). It is also mentioned that Durga Bhavani killed an asshole named Mahishashur on this day.

This atmosphere of Tika, Jamra and Ramailo is considered as the victory of the gods over the demons, the victory of truth over untruth and the victory of humanity over the inhuman element.

Different blessings are given to men and women while applying Tika, the mantra word of which we are going to present here. The mantras of Vedic Sanatan Dharma are not so much in Nepali or any other language. Many meaningful mantras in Sanskrit are recited while worshiping many gods and goddesses. Today, red Tika, Jamara and these mantras are recited in every house in Nepal.
